FACTORYLUX: COMPLETELY NEW APPROACH TO ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING

Factorylux are the UK lighting manufacturer who enable designers to transform space using half the number of lighting fixtures. Factorylux successfully integrate architectural + decorative lighting kudos within a single lighting product, making projects more visually striking but simpler and less costly to specify, install and maintain. Factorylux lighting is aesthetically and constructionally beautiful but also uses high power, high quality Xicato LED modules which are fully specifiable by lumens, Kelvins, CRI and beam shape / size / angle. The range includes: spotlights, wall lights, pendants, bulkheads, lanterns and TRACK-PIPE® - the new alternative to regular lighting track. Factorylux enables designers to cover many design challenges using a single toolkit of technically and visually coherent products.

FACTORYLUX: COMPLETELY NEW APPROACH TO MARKETING

Factorylux co-founder Sophie Gollop is more or less the only woman working in compliance at board level in the UK lighting industry. Factorylux co-founder Stanley Wilson designed #TheVan, a fully mobile workspace complete with miniature bar, kitchen and roof terrace. Throughout 2016 the pair physically toured the #TheVan across the UK and Europe, grabbing the post BREXIT design world and shaking it hard. Sophie Gollop's ‘MAKE A FACTORYLUX LIGHT’ workshop enabled hundreds of professional designers to get onboard and make, test and certify a complete Factorylux luminaire to BS EN 60598 from start to finish using exactly the same techniques and tools as the factory. Factorylux accelerated from obscurity to vibrant global sales within just 12 months. Factorylux has now established distribution partnerships to support designers in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Spain. In 2017 Factorylux will launch UL compliant architectural lighting in the USA.
