Dazzling effects: LED wallpapers by Meystyle feature dynamic compositions

LED Wallpapers

The latest wallpaper collection from Meystyle, Conductivity, is a celebration of the ubiquitous yet mysterious power of electricity. With the use of LEDs the range explores different wavelengths and levels of light intensity to create dynamic compositions. The collection echoes a fascination with nature in its choice of materials, ranging from refined linens and cotton canvases to elegant silks. A variety of metal accents enrich the natural properties of each texture with hand-painted details and gilded applications. Once the lights are off, the texture of the lavish gold leaf background retains a luxurious look and feel.

Solid states: Baranska Design translates icy waters into 3D textured glass

Branska Design Icy Textures

Exhibiting at Surface Design Show 2017, Baranska Design create decorative glass surfaces that capture the beauty of water using innovative 3D effects. Launching these for the first time in Europe the panels comprise of three to four layers of glass fused together and it is this process that achieves such depth and texture. Using slump and laminated glass in combination the new range introduces metal oxide as a pigment and when up-lit by LEDs the effect is that of icy waters under the moonlight. Baranska Design will be on stand 326.

Evoking a magical winter landscape, Acoustic GRG (RPG Europe) and textile designer Anna Gravelle have collaborated on a new range of decorative acoustic panels called Tufted Waveform. “I enjoy the idea of textiles being used to soften space and to bring an unexpected textural element to an interior,” explains Gravelle. Inspired by natural landscapes the collection uses her trademark handcrafted techniques. A polyester foam core is upholstered with a variety of finishes ranging from icy blue tufted wools, screen-printed gold foil patterns and snowy white laser etched leather. The designs are also available in other colours. A sample of this range will be featured on the Surface Spotlight Live 2017 display.
