Gill & Franks (G&F) are proud to announce their presence at the Surface Design Show 2025, where they will showcase an extraordinary range of innovative wall and surface designs from Pintark, all in alignment with this year’s theme of Creative Conscience.
Gill & Franks will be showcasing the new collections at Stand #107, with the complete range available for viewing at their showroom, Unit 324, located on the top floor of the Business Design Centre.
A Celebration of Craftsmanship, Sustainability, and Innovation
Pintark’s latest creations embody the harmonious fusion of tradition and contemporary design, reflecting a commitment to sustainability, ethical craftsmanship, and artistic excellence. This year, G&F will debut five pioneering collections:
Perla and Floret – Textile Artwerks
These handcrafted techniques celebrate the collaboration with Toucan Krafte, a New Delhi-based enterprise empowering women through sustainable employment. Perla employs vintage fabric-clad beads to create vibrant, textured mosaics, while Floret’s ruffled, floral-inspired designs offer striking three-dimensional wall art. Both techniques embody Pintark’s ethos of “Recycle, Empower, Harmonize,” promoting ethical luxury through eco-conscious materials and low-energy processes.
Aves – Inspired by Nature
Drawing inspiration from murmuration—the fluid movements of birds in flight—Aves features interlocking leather elements that mimic organic motion. With its muted tones and dynamic interplay of light and shadow, this collection is designed to transform hospitality interiors into serene, immersive environments, emphasizing unity and harmony with the natural world.
Nami – A Spiritual Journey
Nami pays homage to the spiritual artistry of Nikolai Roerich. This brass-framed polyptych combines cloud-like leather patterns with customizable dimensions to create meditative, immersive spaces. Its low-impact production and use of responsibly sourced materials underscore Pintark’s dedication to sustainability and artistic integrity.
Straw Marquetry – Heritage Reborn
Reviving the centuries-old craft of straw marquetry, Pintark introduces a collection that blends traditional techniques with modern luxury. Using flattened and dyed rye straw, artisans create bespoke panels with shimmering textures that shift with light, providing timeless elegance for feature walls and decorative accents.
Trada – The Art of Shou Sugi Ban
Inspired by the Japanese wood-charring technique of Shou Sugi Ban, Trada transforms charred wood into bold, artistic wall surfaces. It's enhanced textures and customizable tones provide eco-friendly solutions that balance heritage with contemporary design innovation.
