Ressource origins
Based in the South of France, Ressource is a family-run designer house of paints and wallpaper whose legacy of artisanal savoir-faire, derived from ochre mining in the Roussillon area in Provence, stretches back to the 1940s.
The company has long been committed to social and environmental issues. Ressource places sustainability at the heart of all its creations and strives to offer 100% made in France. Each order is made to measure to suit your needs perfectly.
Today run by Pauline Chauvin, 4 generations of enthusiasts have succeeded one another at the helm of the company, driven by the desire to undertake and pass on a lasting legacy.

Proof of its commitment, in 2018, Ressource was awarded the EPV label, Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant.

Sustainable Commitment
For the manufacture of its paints, the House carefully selects its raw materials and favors short-distance sourcing from suppliers who share Ressource’s values, mainly in France and Europe.
Lime-based paints have always been an integral part of Ressource’s catalog, convinced of their aesthetic power and recognized ecological qualities.
The R&D laboratory formulates and improves the product range with water-based, low-VOC* paints.

For its wallpapers, Ressource uses only latex, water-based inks certified for their low levels of VOCs released into the air, and prefers to print on natural paper free of all hazardous substances (PVC, heavy metals, allergens).
In order to eliminate unnecessary over-stocking, Ressource has chosen to produce its paints and wallpapers on demand, thus responding as closely as possible to its customers’ needs.
90% of paint pot packaging is made of 100% recyclable metal and contains no plastic.
