Amrit Seera

Amrit Seera

Amrit Seera is an architect at Vabel, where she focuses on delivering high-quality private and affordable housing in London. With a self-proclaimed Maximalist and Pop Culturalist approach, she aims to infuse joy, colour, and thoughtful details into her designs, ensuring they resonate with the lifestyles of residents and communities who will live, work, and play in the spaces she creates.

Amrit's academic journey includes studies at the University of Creative Arts and the University of Greenwich, where she earned her Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications. During her time there, she explored the intersections between architecture and popular culture, culminating in a thesis on the future of shopping malls and high streets.

Her professional experience before joining Vabel includes working at Studio Partington and Curl la Tourelle Head Architecture, where she collaborated with local authorities to develop sustainable and high-quality social housing.

Beyond her practice, Amrit is committed to mentorship, actively participating in the People Of Colour in Architecture programme and the University of Greenwich Alumni Mentoring Scheme. In 2018, she was featured in Construction Management magazine as part of "The Image of Women in Construction," advocating for the representation and empowerment of women, particularly women of color, in the construction industry.
