Astrid Hugo is a trained Architect and Engineer with expertise in commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects across Europe and Asia. She is a registered BREEAM AP, LEED AP (BD+C), and an architect registered with ARB. With a strong focus on environmental impact, Astrid collaborates with clients to meet ESG goals and design for long-term resilience.

Having worked in Shanghai and Singapore, she now brings extensive experience in high-density urban developments to her London-based role at Gensler. Astrid is also committed to social impact, volunteering with billionBricks to support homeless communities and leading a Gensler initiative to design a self-sufficient rural community. Her work explores innovative construction techniques and sustainable design solutions to help clients navigate the challenges of climate change.
