Former academic at UCL with a PhD in Greek and Latin, Ness has spent her career exploring how societies thrive and the impact of environments on human behaviour. After editing a London newspaper, she founded a media consultancy, working with major clients like the BBC, ITV, and the NHS. However, her transformative experience observing the healing power of nature views in hospitals led her to launch The Journal of Biophilic Design. Passionate about both nature and well-being, Ness creates "Virtual Nature Walls" for diverse spaces and founded PhotoAid Global Foundation, empowering NGOs and training communities in storytelling worldwide.
